Who has to remember the handoff?
Every app here has reminders. The difference is who does the work. On OurFamilyWizard you switch alerts on in your account settings first, then attach a reminder to each event as you create it. AppClose asks you to pick the lead time, event by event. TalkingParents ties reminders to events you build. BestInterest points the other way entirely — its Smart Silence is designed to suppress alerts so only urgent ones get through.
On Civly you set up the custody schedule and the exchange reminders follow from it. There is no reminder to create, because the app already knows when the handoff is. That is the whole difference: a reminder you have to remember to set is a reminder you will eventually forget, and forgetting it is the thing that starts the argument.
None of the six publishes a reminder that fires from the custody schedule itself. If one does and we have missed it, tell us and this table changes.
